Winter Sucks

old stinky "brushed" power tools create ozone as well,

I know that smell from sparks and electronics class, where we built a Jacob's Ladder using a 20,000 volt oil burning furnace igniter.

I remember a tree getting hit by lightning less than 100 feet away from me, and there was that same smell in the air.

You never forget that smell.
It's like the distinctive smell of burnt hair, or burning brake pads or clutch plates.

Will you have an automatically triggered igniter?

Ignition is tricky.
Bare assed Angels aren't recommended due to the potential for burns, but too much clothing can trap the gas, so you need a thin layer of breathable fabric to help prevent burns.

It's best to be seated or bent over when blowing off an Angel so that the flames shoot sideways and away from yourself.

Perhaps a piezoelectric igniter would be better, without an open flame, but a bug zapper on your taint might be worse than a lighter? 🤔

My little sister fired off her first Blue Angel when she was 12 years old.
She was wearing her lime green fleece onesie pajamas and melted the entire ass area of her pajamas. 😁
(Cotton and wool don't melt, but they singe up nicely as well.)
