Maybe someone can help me with this. For quite a while my Bosch Cube Kathmandu 2021 with the Bosch Drive Unit Performance Line has had an intermittent disconnect issue, showing a flashing battery icon on the Intuvia (as you can see in the pictures/video).
It usually happens when riding uphill, but sometimes even on flat terrain. When the disconnect happens, the battery icon flashes, sometimes the lights won’t switch on, and occasionally the speed indication disappears. It all occurs randomly, without any consistency.
Following advice from other owners, I cleaned the contacts and the Intuvia mount, and even loosened the mount slightly in case it was bending and losing connection. That didn’t solve it.
I also swapped the display (since the old one had been dropped a few times), but no luck there either. Adjusted the tightness of the battery mount so it wouldn’t flicker while riding—still the same issue. Updated the software, cleared the codes—problem continues.
Here are the main diagnostic fault codes recorded:
Diagnostics
530002 – Battery authentication error: Battery could not be correctly identified. Motor support off or delayed in the start-up phase. WalkAssist or Drive Off mode not available.
500347 – Internal Drive Unit software error: No motor support.
532001 – CAN communication between Drive Unit and battery interrupted: No motor support.
606011 – External short circuit or battery voltage not sufficient: Voltage supply shut down, no motor support.
I’ve attached the full service report with all recorded faults. Any other ideas what i shoul do next?
