With 125% tariffs, will the e-bike market die?

Trump claimed last Thursday that gas prices “hit $1.98 yesterday in a couple of states.” That wasn’t true. No state had an average gas price below $2.70 per gallon on Wednesday, according to data from AAA, which reported a national average of about $3.17 per gallon. And the lowest individual Wednesday price found by the firm GasBuddy, which tracks tens of thousands of gas stations across the country, was $2.19 at a station in Texas.The White House couldn’t substantiate Trump’s claim and it added a new false claim that gas prices in “the Middle America” are at “record lows.” Then Trump said the next day that three states had hit $1.98 per gallon on Thursday. There was no basis for that, either; the lowest AAA state average on Thursday was also $2.70 per gallon, and GasBuddy again found no stations selling for less than $2.19 per gallon. But it's all good because the golden age is coming! who cares about a few little lies to keep morale up. Average grocery prices in March were up about 0.49% from February, according to federal Consumer Price Index data, which was the biggest month-to-month jump since October 2022. I'm beginning to think MAGA enjoys being gaslighted

Honestly , I am excited to see where we land in the next 4 years . This country is on a positive trajectory that I am glad to see after such a decline .

I suppose you think this is all a fun game. The reason people are posting here is because they do NOT "feel better" most feel pretty terrible with the state of affairs but I guess if you just watch conservative media, everything is fine, trump is playing 4D chess,the golden age is coming and most importantly, there's money to be made! Personally I don't "feel better" being lied to about the price of gas hitting new lows or that the price of groceries is falling when in fact, the opposite is happening. I suppose you also think the USA can go it alone. alienate our allies and destroy our trade agreements.. MAGA!

I watch NBC news. Unless they do a story, I don't hear it unless it is brought up on one of the 2 forums I am relatively active on.

Most of the stuff you all are talking about is the first I am hearing it. Perhaps many should stay off the internet, they'd be less stressed.
