With 125% tariffs, will the e-bike market die?

What do you think of the fact that this current admin is spending more than the previous?
What waste has been eliminated?
Has there been any fraud?
I don't keep track of "spending year" but pretty sure were still on Biden's "budget".

I don't track the DOGE activity; but I agree with the activity.

I don't track the fraud story details; but I'll say yes there is "fraud". Caught periodically in (at least) Medicare and SS.

You are most certainly NOT on Biden's anything. Ridiculous deflection.
If there is fraud, where is the evidence? Why has nobody been charged/exposed?

Not my job to monitor.
How convenient.
There is no fraud, except for the fraud that the DOGE/Trump admin is perpetrating on the American people.
If there was fraud, we'd have proof of it, but there is none.
No point in trying to deny/ignore that fact.
I'd be happy to be proven wrong, as we all would agree on reducing waste/fraud/abuse.

Yeah, never mind the hundreds of thousands losing their jobs. Screw the people who were going to try and retire in the next few years with their evaporating 401k.
To hell with the vets, and all the seniors health benefits/needs.
"Doesn't affect me", so who cares...

Do you support the actions taken by the Trump admin to fire hundreds of thousands of Gov workers?

I think this really gets to the heart of the issue. The idea that we should manufacture everything in the US is basically saying the US should swap places with China, which is a significantly poorer country than the US. If we had large amounts of unemployed people there would at least be some logic to that, but we don't. So its basically saying that huge swaths of the populace should swap their higher paying service sector jobs for lower paying manufacturing jobs for [reasons].
I don't think anyone is talking about everything , but there absolutly are portions that need to be done here .

Nope. Trump is spending more. This is his admin/budget.
You might be confusing the recent bill to extend federal funding (Biden's spending approval) with Trumps first spending approval in October 2025.

"Every year, federal agencies, the White House's Office of Management and Budget, and Congress work on a budget for the upcoming fiscal year, which runs from October 1 through September 30. It is a complicated and confusing process."

What the US has been mostly selling is printed paper. We get high value products, they buy dollars. Printed paper. Treasuries tanked, Bonds tanked, the Dollar dropped, Markets went down and CEOs sat Mr. T down yesterday for a talk about empty shelves, job loss, and riots with moms pushing strollers and little old ladies. Mr. M. had to tell his stock holders about reality yesterday. Powell and Harvard stood firm. We will see what the next self-inflicted crisis is.

A budget is not the same as spending.

Correct, How is it decided where spending will happen? On a road vs on a bomb vs. on Medicaid vs on Veterans vs on . . . .
The current government has already plunged into $5 billion more debt than the Biden administration in the same space of time, despite firing tens of thousands of government workers and slashing funding for federal services.
Where is the money going?

Although not Ebike tariff related, I'll try to get at least 1/2 way back on topic.

Uh-oh.
