US elections are too long, basically it starts up the day after the election with raising obscene amounts of money from special interests. Elections should be limited to 6 or 8 weeks and special interest money should be illegal in my opinion. SCOTUS got it wrong on the Citizens United ruling in 2010.

Yeah, never mind the hundreds of thousands losing their jobs. Screw the people who were going to try and retire in the next few years with their evaporating 401k.
To hell with the vets, and all the seniors health benefits/needs.
"Doesn't affect me", so who cares...
Personally: retired, 70 years old, have a 401k, collect SS, on Medicare.
My actions you responded to help old farts, not hinder. Also will help younger folks.

You are welcome to explain how you are helping. I don't think the hundreds of thousands out of work can hear or see you.
Was speaking of the actions I take so I can say that what is going on is no big deal. Others can do the same.
My intent was not to imply I am physically helping anyone, just that (with the exception of vet and loosing a job) I am in the same circumstances as those you describe as "I don't care about".
