Dumb question about Amazon link

Bear with me as I'm clearly not an Ecommerce or internet wizard, but if someone asks me about a particular part I ordered on Amazon and then I share my link with them-do they get my Amazon page with my order info etc?

No it should just get to the product page....an easy way to test is copy the link, and go into your browser and set it to Private...then put the link in and see what it comes up with, as it will not recognize you as the user (because of Private Browser mode).

I always sign out and then look for the page to get the link I want to share.
When I’m signed in, I’ve always seen my user name where it says Sign-In above the Accounts & Lists area in the header.

No, you’ll be good to share. It won’t give your details. Just a link to the product. 👍

That's what I was hoping to hear! One of my credit cards was hacked recently and it was a PITA even though my card company was great and took care of all the fraud. But I had to file police report, yada, yada, yada..

You can’t be too careful nowadays, the crooks are so good at getting your hard earned cash. It makes me mad that someone can work hard their whole life and one mistake can be so costly for them, then there’s the feeling silly part when these parasites are near professional at what they do and can catch even the most tech savvy out as well. I’m always schooling my mother! Lol It’s good the banks and whatever are helping people out but the weasels that do it should get more severe punishments. Glad you got it sorted out 👍
