XC100 Shock Adjustment

Does anyone know how or if the shocks on the xc100 can be adjusted? The shock bottoms out when I go over deep holes, etc. I see there is a nut over the coil way deep down in the shock but not sure if that's for adjustment. Also don't have a socket long enough to reach it. If not adjustable, I might just switch out the front fork. Thanks!
