X-Treme Ebikes. DON'T BUY from these guys. I bought a Cabo Cruiser 48V "Scooter" in 2019. Yes its 6 years old however, the web site says Lifetime Customer Support. FAIL! I need a new rear sprocket/bearing and a wiring diagram for my model. I used their Chat function of the website and they replied we don't have the part you need or the schematic. In fact they have NO PARTS available for my model period. No US based service shops or offices. When I complained about the "Lifetime support" their answer was "were talking to you aren't we"? That's their definition of lifetime customer support. I talked to an attorney and because of the claim it is implied the statement means service, support, parts, etc. FOR THE LIFE OF THE PRODUCT. He also said suing them would likely result in a refund or replacement at minimum; problem being no USA based offices. The products are good the support is Crap!

I'm honestly just impressed that a $1500 electric scooter lasted 6 years.

Marketing language aside, their warranty says one year warranty on the components and lifetime on the frame. And its a pretty weak warranty; they don't cover labor to replace anything or shipping anything back to them. And they are based overseas. Even reputable companies with established dealer networks probably aren't covering parts 6 years after purchase.

That's not exactly the point I am making. Reputable dealer may not be COvering parts but often at a minimum have them available for purchase. The website says "Lifetime Support", Its a bald faced lie. Not limited to just the frame. Even at 6 years...less than 200 miles on it, always garaged. Could have easily been during 1st year. You can pretty much find parts for other brands for years after on the internet,3rd parties, or in shops. I have three other electric cycles from other manufacturers. No problem locating replacement parts for them. Even years after purchase. I am not new to this hobby.

Not trying to put salt in the wound but you did make a newby mistake.
Many bike parts are made by a multitude of 3rd party manufactures and are more interchangeable.. Scooter, maybe not so much. The website and vehicle appearance is enough warning for me to pass... especially at the sale price.

I understand what you're saying, but in my experience overseas companies selling cheap stuff aren't reliable sources of parts. Or reliable sources of service in general. I wouldn't even be optimistic about them covering stuff in the warranty period. When you're shopping at the bottom end of the price curve, service is the first thing companies toss out the window to meet that price point.

I kinda doubt its some super special made-specially-for-them part so you can probably pull whatever it is and find a part number and search aliexpress/dhgate/temu and find it though.
