Just wondering if anyone else who has purchased a Superbike would like to be able to have the bike come with a different seat?
I've tried two Brooks Cambium saddles and found both to be uncomfortable. I'd like to have the option to choose a cushy, wider seat for the upright riding position on this bike. Anyone else like to have the bike come with a plusher, wider seat?
Pushkar, is there a possibility of offering a choice of two seats?

If it were up to me, I wouldn't ship it with a saddle or pedals at all. This is a high-end bike and people who buy a high-end bike will want their preferred saddle and pedals and are unlikely to keep the stock ones for very long.

Brooks Cambium and the regular leather series are two completely different saddle types. I think an option might be to get the bike as is and sell the new saddle. You’d probably come out ahead.

I've felt the same way about the saddle. It just looks uncomfortable and hard. But I can't find an article about saddles that doesn't place the Brook B-17 in it's top 5.

So looking at all the other high end components that Watt Wagons has to offer, I decided that who am I to judge? I'll try it, wait for the (excruciatingly long) break-in period to pass and then I'll decide if it stays or if I replace it.

Recently at about 750miles in I swapped out my Brooks B-17 for a cushier Ergon.Not a huge initial difference though I’ve since adjusted the Ergon several times this way and that but specifically forward helped to make it comfortable. I’m now tempted to try the same process on the Brooks. The discomfort with Brooks had been improving after 500m though obviously not enough. Now it looks too good on the shelf to leave it there.

I'm wondering if all the positive reviews on the B17 is for touring bikes, which have a more forward leaning posture, compared to the commuter size bike we're buying.
I have a Fabric seat on my carbon road bike and I love it. Because I like it so much I put it on my Pedego RidgeRider, which has a very upright riding position, to see how it felt.
It felt terrible. I couldn't wait to get it off. The more upright riding position turned a comfortable seat into a derrière downer.

We plan to ship with the B17 for now, per spec.
I’m sure I can swap out for something different if you prefer.

To my knowledge all ebikes come with some saddle / pedals. I’m not too familiar with how the high end analog bike setup works tbh. Any pointers are appreciated.

^Good point...I’m riding an Allant9.9s doing country road touring. I’m also not very handy and playing with the saddle along with the angles of my bar ends are the depth of my expertise. With Brooks I noticed the discomfort (primarily my left hip) did seem to come on later and later the further I went...example...what began hurting ten miles in on early rides had pushed to 20m when I switched. I will try it again soon
