At long last I removed the CA-V3 and associated wiring and put it in a box, leaving the ONE in its original electrical condition. A test ride showed nothing had changed - it still goes wide open in PAS 1 or above. Oh, well...
I'll either get used to it or not. Thinking back to the Lectric 750, it has the same problem. I wonder why Lectric continues to ignore many negative statements about this behavior? I've seen them a number of places on the net including Youtube.
