With all the power available to the RCS and the CCX bikes, it would be nice to be able to run a bit faster from time to time using throttle only.
I understand the R.Rover will do 20+ with the stock controller and about 25+ with a $200 aftermarket controller / display.
I think the Juiced bikes have a higher amp controller already than the Rover, and I know they'll really go in peddle assist, but are there ways around the throttle limit of 20?
Also, maybe this is less of an issue if you can "ghost peddle" to break through the 20mph mark and get to the bikes max 28-30 mph PAS speed?
I've not ridden a cadence only bike to the speed limit so I don't know how this works - as in can you just "pretend" to pedal and the bike keeps accelerating?
Would I have to turn "off" the torque sensor in the settings to make this approach work if I needed the higher speeds?
Thanks for any insight.
