So it seems the visable Great Conjunction is an every 20 year event ... but this one is so super special because it happens in a part of the zodiac ( a house?) representing Aquarius ( cue The Age of Aquarius .. no, please don't) that hasn't happened in 800 years, and to astrologers is a big deal because the next 10 such conjunctions will also be in Aquarius, so it starts a 200 year cycle. Or something.

On the plus side, we´re half way thru the cabin fever zone. Unfortunately this year it began back in March. I´m trying to cope by
cutting paper dolls & watching tropical travelogues on Utube. I´m assuming the sun is still there, but I´ve seen little evidence
to confirm the fact. Apparently we´ll now be getting another stimulus check of $600,(woohoo) This is like trying to jump start
a car that´s out of gas, but hey, it´s a down payment on an ebike.

A small question springs to mind, $600 for every man, woman, & child comes to something around $220 billion.
Who gets the other $680 billion? I asked almost the exact same question last time. How far is $600 supposed to go?
I mean that won´t rent a studio apt. for a month these days. This is a plan? People need a livelihood; How far
is $600 expected to go while the outbreak continues to worsen? Better get some garden seed packets, start
digging up dandelion roots, & harvest rose hips in the meantime. I hear they´re very nutritious.

I do, but I don´t have to like it. Corporate bailouts only serve the 1%. They´re greatest concern Is how to make C-19 a cash cow.
We´re teetering on the brink of economic & cultural collapse if some meaningful action is not taken soon. Blessed are the poor
for theirs is the ´Kingdom of Heaven´, but heaven is starting to get rawther crowded.

This was extended inthe first package, due to expire 1/1. Also small businesses will be supported. Hopefully these businesses are smaller than the large restaurant corporations that mostly benefited from the first package.

If you don't need your stimulus check, consider donating to www.ourforestfund.org, to protect trees in perpetuity....save the earth first.

I think they should have forced the banks in March to simply suspend all mortgages, loans and interest for a month or two. Just tear the pages out of the ledger. No payments, no penalties. Tack them on at the end of the loan period, so no loss to the banks/landlords. Businesses cannot be open, yet are required to pay their mortgage or rent. People are required to pay their rents/mortgages, yet cannot go to work to make the money to do so. Banks could suspend payments, no one would suffer and a great deal of stress would be relieved while we truly hunker down to give the virus no shelter.

/offtopic You can never let a crisis go to waste if you're a big bank or such. Lots of property will change hands cheaply, assuming that someone rich is still buying.

The last time that the conjunction was observable when separated by less than 0.1 degrees was 800 years ago, during the great conjunction of 1226. Hundreds of years before Galileo caused a revolution in the church.

That´s good to hear, but somehow I fear corporate will find a way to gobble the lion´s share.They usually do, especially when
it comes to agribiz. I´m skeptical of what can be done for small businesses that have already failed. One way or another, banks
will end up with much, if not most of that money. Creating jobs is a more permanent solution than handouts.

Just to be fair, not that billionaires need my help, the market crashed when the lock down was put in place (start of chart data) then at least partially recovered over the time scale of this chart, Tesla's stock listing not withstanding.
