40 lbs is good, mechanical disc brakes not so much. But for 1500 may be a decent option. Why no presence on EBR?

I'd have loved if they have put in cheap IGH like Shimano Nexus 5 speed with Belt drive.

I think Wings are Strom (Danish) knock-offs or at least the same Chinese sub.

The Strom M and W are very similar to the Wing Freedom 2 and Freedom ST.
