Just to add for those who haven't heard: Reuters is reporting that Elon has been able to acquire Twitter.. Reuters offers plenty of lies, but this seems true on the face of it. I suppose something odd might still happen.

This is where you miss the point.
Twitter is not a government program. The owners are free to allow or prohibit whatever speech they wish. "Free Speech" does not mean the same thing as "Free Beer".
I Mr. Musk wants to run what is now his business that way he is free to do so (which is also part of what Free Speech means), but if he wanted to run it with any other rules on tweets he is also free to do that as well. Of course none of this is likely to make me use twitter or pay any attention to it.

Cant call it free speech when in reality it is just a group think tank for the Left (Libs and Left wingers). Now I understand there are exceptions to every rule.. But my point is if you stand back and look you will see the Dangers that are among us... Pretty sure we have seen this before... and like then, people ignored and made excuses.. We are close. The only thing is (like last time).. it will affect everyone, not just the ones you dont like what they say.

They loved censoring of the President, explaining that it was not government, it was business. Run by BlackRock, billionaires, Saudi princes, etc.
Now they shriek that a billionaire shouldn't be controlling the public square...but until Elon stepped up, it was just dandy. They ever called for more more more.

They have people virtually begging to have their money sliced in value.. It's incredible. It's not as if governments pay for the wars out of tax money they collect.
