Does anyone happen to know......................

I get slightly different Mileage / Distance ridden, readings from my Giant RideControl One vs Strava.

Might the RideControl One actually be more accurate because it is Directly in communication with the electronics of the bike ?

I have a garmin gps and my iPhone and my bike none match. I did notice that the gps's take longer to start and stop. I have much faster max speeds on my phone. I think the bike is the most accurate.

Strava uses GPS. The bike uses a magnet on the wheel with a pre programmed tire circumference. Considering the bike can not be calibrated for different tire sizes, my bet is on Strava.

except the gps takes longer to start and stop. I have watched my Garmin be 1/2 mile too much distance on the first part of my ride because of so many starts and stops. it evens out mostly by the end of the ride. I was using cyclometer as it kept track of more things but it would give me a much faster max speed then Garmin or my bike computer. I found my Garmin was more accurate then my iPhone its easy to test it just fine a mile mater check your bike computer and ride to the next one. I have not tried that in years but I should.
