Which bicycle companies have fast smart bike chargers?

Specialized has come out with a fast smart charger that will charge a large battery (700 wh+) to 80% in 1 hour. For a touring bicycle rider on a multi day trip, a fast charge can be done during the day leaving the bike with a good charge for the next day without having to worry about where a charge might be available each evening for several hours. Especially useful if camping. Do other bicycle companies such as Cube, Reise Muller, Bulls have anything similar?

This would require that you carry that $600 charger with you on the bike. To me, it would make more sense to buy a second battery which would give you enough range for a full day. I'm not sure where you usually stay on a ride, but 120V outlets are available in most overnight accommodations, except the most primitive campsites. That way, you could carry the cheaper, lighter OEM charger you already have and charge overnight at a lower, battery saving rate.

If you really want to charge at a higher rate, I would get a programmable, weatherproof Grin Satiator, which will charge any battery, rather than a proprietary Specialized charger that costs almost twice as much.

Just my 2 cents.

Higher power chargers are typically larger and heavier, which would seem to conflict with your intended use. The trend of late is to charge slower and longer, to preserve battery life. That said, Bosch makes a 6A fast charger for their batteries.

current Bosch chargers are for the Bes2 in 2A, 4A and 6A, however for the Bes3 system currently just the 2A and 4A available

Thank you for these suggestions. While a Specialized charger is expensive, and 2nd 710 wh battery is three times as expensive and probably weighs more. Sometimes I may be wild camping and sometimes not by choice, so having a way to always have a back up, a fast charger anwers that. The suggestion of the Grin Satiator is a good one. I will look into that.

You wouldn't probably like to fry your expensive and proprietary Specialized battery with a charger made for Chinese scrap metal e-bikes and burn yourself at that occasion?
