Where do these parts go?

I just bought an Easy Motion City bike and had it shipped. I am stumped on where a wire harness plugs into above the peddles and where this little plastic clip goes. The plastic clip seems similar in shape to where the wire harness is hanging out of but it is not an exact fit. I do not see any female wire harness clip to attach the harness to. Any help is appreciated!

Looking at the EBR review and pics, it appears a lot of the wiring runs under the bottom bracket (you can see it in your 2nd picture as well). My first question is a basic one - does the bike work as-is with that disconnected? If yes could it possibly be related to the front/rear lights that incorporated with this bike?

If it doesn't power up (or doesn't drive), then there must be a connection somewhere within the frame there that isn't seen or able to be located. If that is the case you're either in for some wrenching or having to find a local shop willing to work on it for you.

Yes, It looks like the wire for an optional light kit. The plastic bit looks like it will clip onto cable housing to protect the frame from the bar during shipping.

It looks like yours is for the optional throttle. Possibly a light. The cover looks like the ones used to cover the battery connection location on the bike, because BH packs batteries separately from the factory.

The winged connectors definitely appear to be matched to either the light wiring kit or perhaps the factory programming wire there? Color matches the programming wire - which I suspect is normally just tucked away in the frame and not connected to anything - though perhaps it should have a cover?

The plastic piece does look like a shipping related piece of plastic - those connections aren't designed to survive longer than the transport in the box.

The wiring does match the wires to the rear light. Now I need to figure out how to remove the cover to the transport box to find the other end to plug wire back in. Not as easy as removing the two bottom screws and 3 screws by the battery lock pin. Any time ideas how to remove cover?

Found this in the way back machine:

Pic in above thread looks like your pic #2 above.

Might be wise to leave it be.
