What is the weight limit on the Pedego Stretch

I think I have watched every video and read every review there is for the Pedego Stretch. I have head from dealers things like "400 pound weight limit" (from the Pedego site) to "450 pound weight limit", and "400 pound weight limit on top of the rider weight." Which is it really. All of that can be a big difference!

Current catalog says 400 lb cargo capacity. I'd contact Pedego direct. They usually respond quickly.

I just read here that it is 'a 225lb Rider Plus 400lbs of Cargo'
I'm 300lbs and my wife is 100lbs and we recently rode a Stretch together. Thinking about getting one!

Been away for MONTHS... I called Pedego. The TOTAL capacity is 400lbs (plus bike). Somewhere along the line retailers and etailers got rider plus 400 for cargo - not true.
