What have you learned from your e-bike experiences?

My cranks are Aluminum. . .
I really can't fault them with some of the pedal strikes I've had... Something had to give eventually.
Okay. Makes more sense. Didn't know the cranks were anything but steel. I think the pedal bolts are grade 8 just going by the black color? I watched a video of a guy talking about some common things we should know for cycling. Pedal up on the side of the turn which I fortunately was doing, logically speaking. I did have a short event just yesterday when I thought I could hop or climb an uneven parallel slab of concrete since it was shallow and my tires have decent tread. NOT!!! Nearly had my first crash. Was only going sub-light speed, under 10 MPH, so it was a fast recovery with my left foot stopping my fall to the left.

We use power augers to help dig holes for planting trees. The screw part attaches to the motor's shaft with a weak sheer bolt. If it fails, that is the spot, saving the rest.
Great to know so the next time that I am using my power auger while riding my bicycle, if I impose too much torque on the auger, the cross pin will snap before I go flying over the handlebars. Ha-Ha! P.S. I am now in the over 100 mile club as of yesterday, 10-9-25.
