Question for Dolphin or Volador owners, what happens when the battery runs out on a ride? Can you still ride it like a bike or does it lock up? Also curious, does the Dolphin come in red? It seems like the one reviewed on YouTube by ElectricBikeReview but it doesn't seem like they sell it anymore.

When the battery is drained, or power-assist not enabled, it's just a normal pedal bike, and moves fairly well with the 7-speed gearing. There is no physical locking mechanism in the hub motor, but you can password-protect the KT-Controller to lock-out the power-assist functions. Just flat black and grey. I think the reddish one in EBR video was an early prototype. It would be fairly straight-forward for someone determined and handy to dissemble and re-spray the frame any colour they wanted. If I had to choose, white would be higher-visibility.
