Waiting for Wattwagon motor - USPS delays

Wattwagaon has jacked me around for 2 months after I paid them $1500 for a motor. Is anyone else having a problem with these guys?

Jacked is a rather vague term. @pushkar is pretty responsive and has a reputation for high customer satisfaction. Have you reached out to him?

I do know that the the new motor with Archon X1 controller was recently launched and a few folks have already done the upgrade and are enjoying the vast improvements over the stock controller.

I couldn't rip off my motor fast enough to replace it with the one they sent me. Happy with the upgrade but if I were to raise an honest criticism service seems a bit slow and some things have gotten lost in the shuffle. I haven't bothered to follow up but seems they may be growing too fast.

Hi there. As you know I called you 2 weeks ago Friday and I dropped off your motor with USPS. You also have the tracking number for it as well.

I will circle back with USPS today morning to see what’s going on. The shipping seems to be sporadic and weirdly intermittently terrible.

If I don’t see any movement on the shipment of the motor by end of the week, I’ll issue you a full refund. I’ll send a return shipping label and you can ship me back the motor when it lands at your place.

I’m sorry about this. USPS has been very unpredictable. We have also tried UPS but they do a terrible job of package safety.

Please let me know if this works. Apologies again- shipping is messing up a lot right now. I will add a shipping notice on the site.

This is not a Watt Wagon problem but shipping issue, the blame belongs with the shipper as soon as you have a tracking number, ANYBODY who does any web orders knows this.
I don't blame Amazon for an order that takes a month to get to me when it is shipped the day after I order it.
Also if your order has to cross any national border the delays can be nasty at times, customs is always slowing things down with inspections.

I hate to see negative headline thread titles that aren't a vendors fault.

Quick update. USPS has the package but They are backed up at the sorting center but told me it should be on its way. They told me i should expect an update within a day or two at the latest.
This is definitely frustrating for you. I’m sorry. As we discussed, I’ve included the stock controller you asked for at no cost to you.

Everyone is having issues with shipping right now, this has NOTHING to do with WW

Amazon has not gotten a package on time to me in 2 months and that is unheard of
It is the shipping companies
With all that is going on we all just have to be patient with them, sure they are trying their best

I hope your order arrives soon.
My answer to your thread title is, "not me" and I can attest to two things:
First, I've experienced the delayed shipping by USPS.
The second is echoing @byunbee in regards to Pushkar providing excellent customer service.

There's always one fella that seems to need to blather on about a companies failure to please. And then there's those that have complained about every purchase made. Both in this thread. FFS. I get almost instant responses from WattWagon.

Shipping has been a complete nightmare for us this spring. Tracking m=numbers that don't track, hazardous goods (batteries) stuck in airport storage. Shipment of dozens of items ALL with the wrong connectors. A small business nightmare, AT BEST!

Remember the days when we ordered things from ads from the back of magazines? The ad always stated something like '4 to 6 weeks for delivery after payment is received'. We've been spoiled with 2 day, 1 day delivery. Amazon and others haven't gotten back to 'normal'. We may just have a new normal to get used to! What's old is new again.

I hated waiting 4 to 6 weeks for delivery :)

I understand the frustration but you can still use better words in the title? If you did try to contact them and they didn't return or returned with an offensive response I would have understood this but it doesn't seem to be the case.

Why can't people show the same respect that they expect from the sellers?

Agreed. The thread title is not fair and is misleading since the part had already been shipped and the vendor had already communicated this information to the buyer prior to the buyer posting a thread title with the term "ripped off by Wattwagon."

I think it would have been fine to complain that Wattwagons is too slow to ship or that they should not charge until they ship, but not "ripped off."

And he is a 2 pump chump troll.......not going to mince words on this one, because Pushkar has to stay positive and be nice, I will call him out as I did in the other thread.
Who makes 2 threads on the exact same subject and only has 2 posts on EBR and then doesn't have the guts to post a reply......a troll.

The shipping has been horrible. My biggest gripe is when a tracking # has been generated but shows that the item has yet to be given over to UPS or USPS. I'm not even insinuating this is the case for this troll but it is exasperating for someone waiting. If my tracking indicates its in the hands of the shipping company, USPS, UPS etc, they own the problem.

But they don’t. Amazon brains have made the market nuts. 6-10 years ago we ALL waited days for an email response and weeks to a month for product. Warranty? to funny!

Amazon is only fast if the product is being shipped by them directly and from a relatively local distribution point. I don't blame Amazon for slow shipping when it happens, and it does, I get an instant order acknowledgement within minutes and it almost always ships within 1 business day, now the courier on the other hand doesn't seem to care when you pick the free shipping option, I have waited up to a month watching the tracking slowly make it's way to me, and they do own that, not Amazon, they did their job.

The problem from my view are customers expecting mom and pop shops to compete with Amazon. And the current climate favors the Uber wealthy making day to day sales a tough nut for us little guys. I use Amazon, but also buy from small shops whenever I can. How much money does Bezos need. We’ve become Pavlov's dogs. With ridiculous expectations..

I think there in lies the issue. Here is a screenshot of another tracking for a different customer , where I dropped it off to USPS Boston, and the next scan is USPS New York office, after 20 days!! Unbelievable!!
