I purchased my Vorsa lite Memorial day weekend to get the sale price of $1395.00. Just want to mention for reference this is my 4th Ride1up bike and my 7th E-bike.
Still have my LMT’D V1 with over 10,000 miles on it. Had a LMT’D V2 ST but sold it and a used Prodigy ST which I sold also. Had a E-Glide, a Giant Explorer mid drive and a Velotric Discover II I just sold.
The packaging the bike was shipped in was excellent and well protected. The box was very compacted due to the front fork removed. A little additional assembly inserting the front fork.
The front wheel had to be trued and the front rotor had a little warp that I straightened out myself.
There was a blemish in the paint but not from shipping but manufacturing. Ride1up made good and shipped me a touch up paint kit and $75.00 credit which I used towards a suspension seat post.
The motor is exceptionally quiet. Too quiet for a bike at this price point. I was looking also at the Euphree Steller Falcon and it seemed the biggest complaint of the first generation was the motor noise. From a bike listed at $900.00 more. Also quieter then the Discover II motor. About as quiet as the Prodigy mid drive I had.
This is the first stock seat I ever owned that I’m not thinking of replacing it is so comfortable to my derriere.
I added some more street orientated Schwabe Big Ben tires. The Arisun tires were not bad at all but my riding style is mostly street and bike paths.
Added Ergon grips for a larger surface for my palms. A Topeak bike rack since I already have accessories for it.
Also unlocked the off road mode so I ride around with it in that mode instead of Class III. We are not talking a gobstopping amount of power. Just unrestricting the 28 mph limit. I have had it up to 32 mph GPS. Rarely get up to that speed. But it is like having an amp that instead of going up to 10 now has an 11!
From the display, to the battery amperage of 15 amps, quiet motor, great riding position out of the box with the adjustable handlebar stem and comfortable stock seat, the nice bundling of the cables, front thru axle, being able to go from torque to cadence sensor when needed and price point, I find this bike to fit all my needs and is better than my LMT’D which was my go-to bike even after purchasing others in the meantime. I think the bike weighs in at about 65 lbs. with my accessories.
That’s all I can think of right now. What I would improve? I would like to see a front air fork option. The mechanical fork works fine but I really like the air fork on the LMT’D and it might save a few pounds.
If you can live without turn signals and a rear brake light on a bike, phone app for the bike, this might fit your riding needs.
