Vado tire pressure

I also looked at specialized Comfort Gel Saddle. The size is 180mm vs Canopy Sport at 153mm. Can you comment on wider saddle for Vado? Is Vado the bike you have?
I also looked at Milano Gel narrower but (175mm I think) bit out of stock.
I have never measured myself for saddle but looking for something at Specialized brand.
btw Milano is level 4 padding and Canopy is 5 so as Comfort Gel.
I am thinking they put Canopy since is narrower (more sporty look) and cheaper. ($50 vs $30)
Yes I have a Vado 3.

I found the Comfort Gel saddle an improvement, but not dramatically so, ... it looks like a more traditional saddle, but not out of place on the Vado ... as others have commented this is a game of incremental changes with cumulative impact.

I went to a saddle fit a week or so ago. The guy was an expert in bio mechanics, but I think a little perplexed with a 67 year with a Vado. He relied on my feedback & in hindsight I think my backside was so tender that any feedback was a bit distorted, ... anyway I quickly discarded the Specialized saddle that we came up with as a possibility in collaboration. I don't regard this as a complete failure - just a step in the quest for a better bike. In passing a friend of a friend did the Specialised saddle test system, Retule? and had magical results. I will investigate this when things are more open here post the Cover virus shut down.

Thanks. Could you please comment on the feel for wider saddle vs narrower (180 vs 153).

Thats a bit hard to describe. Both my son and I felt it was a more comfortable saddle offering a bit more support, though not necessarily any softer. Interestingly the horizontal area of the seats are very similar with main difference being the Comfort Gel saddle, at the edge, flares down at a sight angle making the seat look bigger. Sorry I cannot provide a more elegant/useful description, ...

Thanks again. Very helpful. Not surprised that it is not softer as they both are level 5 padding.
The wider saddle should give a better support on upright position vs bending forward (like road bike). I am sure it is ideal for Como.
I might give it a shot.
Thanks again.

Sounds like a suspension seat post may be in your future. There is a thread on this very subject...
