Did you get this going? How is it compared to stock?I have mostly installed the 35 Amp controller from electrobikeworld.com. It's weather proof and huge!
Nice work. Can you share details of how you did the conversion?I have mostly installed the 35 Amp controller from electrobikeworld.com. It's weather proof and huge! Had to order different parts and wires to make it work. View attachment 142358View attachment 142359View attachment 142360
I can confirm the KT controllers work with Aventon motors. Tbh, I also did the change but reverted back to the stock controller, I didn't like the feel of it. I like the more 'moped' type of ride.Has anyone done this?
Do the connecters fit?
Are there instructions available?
I think I saw your thread on the Level thread? Were the connections plug and play or did you have to cnage out the connectors? What was the amp on the kt controller and did it fit back into the stock location?I can confirm the KT controllers work with Aventon motors. Yes, it was plug and play but I needed to extend some of the cables.I think I saw your thread on the Level thread? Were the connections plug and play or did you have to cnage out the connectors? What was the amp f the kt controller and did it fit back into the stock location?

Got this to extend the motor cable: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08B1SGXB6/
Got this to extend the PAS I think: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B09Q8PTSDF/
The controller I got was ordered directly from China, it was a KT 6 MOSFETS Controller (06A) and it was a tight fit but it fit! I just didn't like the feel
I prefer the surge! I might’ve not adjusted the setting properly but maybe I was too used to the original, this is my first e-bike.Thanks. What was it about the feel didn't you like? Did you adjust the tune in the KT controller?
My wife does not like the fact the stock controller feels. It surges with too much power at once, even on pas 1. Also, I was looking lower the pedal revolution to start introducing some power.
Edit:
Looking at the specs of the kt 6 mofset, it looks like it's a 20a peaking at 960 watts. The aventure is 750w a peaks over 1000 watts. Dot know if it would work
Where you able to get the lights to work with the controller?I prefer the surge! I might’ve not adjusted the setting properly but maybe I was too used to the original, this is my first e-bike.
No, I couldn’t. I just connected some directly to the battery.Where you able to get the lights to work with the controller?
