using 36v on 48v setup . I ordered a 48v bike. I have a extra 36v battery. What happens when you use 36v bat on 48v bike?

IF you have a controller capable of a range of voltages you'd be golden, but most will not have this feature.

Many controllers have a 36v and 48v option, check into yours. If it has a 36v mode you are all set.

I would be very interested to hear how you find the power of your motor on 36v vs 48v. I was at one point planning a similar experiment

It has a bafang dp.c18 display and ultra motor.

From google it looks like the DP C18 supports 36v, just figure out how to toggle it and you should be all set. The batteries have identical connectors I presume?
