I'm wondering if anyone knows whether there's a bike out there now with mechanics like the old iZip E3 Path?--with super-smooth pedaling and a whisper-quiet motor. I just bought a Velotric Discover 1 to replace it, and I love the upright posture and the comfort (shocks, big tires), but I also really miss the zippiness and lightweight-ness and especially the utter quiet of the iZip. Thx!

I know of such an e-bike but am afraid you cannot afford it if you talk the Velotric :)

You might like the Ride1Up Prodigy V2 at half the price!

The Prodigy -- judging by specification -- is a decent e-bike. Only it weighs 58 lbs while Vado SL 2 is 44 lbs :)
It is true the Brose motor on the Prodigy is very quiet!

actually test drove a specialized was impressed
Everybody is impressed after having ridden a Specialized, even PedalUma :)

A good e-bike is expected to be ridden for at least five years. It makes a thousand bucks a year. You don't need to check your battery with a multimetre at least :)

Yeah, but he has to give his a good swift kick in the battery to get it going in the morning. 😂

His e-bike is under full warranty, so Specialized will send someone by every morning to kick his bike for him. 😂
