Unboxing and Build Video

98 SNAKE EATER

Active Member
Took a while to arrive (almost a month), but after FedEx apparently misplaced my first order, I was sent another using UPS, who actually delivered it to the wrong address.

My usual UPS guy is awesome, but his truck was overloaded, so they gave it to some lady that had no idea where my shop was and delivered it to a pizza joint on the corner (this stuff only happens to me)

Anyhoo, the package had a few dings in it, so I took extra precautions unboxing

Love this bike

Just a note for anyone unboxing a new bike....

Make sure you open the box fully as I did and carefully slide the pieces out one by one.

The front wheel had the crank arm threaded through the spokes, so had I just opened the lid of the box and tried to pull it out from the top, I would've surely bent the spokes and probably scratch sumthin else in the process.

How effective is the WPas in adding new juice? I like the look of that model in that color. It's XPs big brother!

It actually works quite well, but I mainly use it when going down hill or slowing down from high speed runs without using the brakes

Like if I'm haulin arse in mode 3, I click down into mode 1 and let the regen slow me down

Did you buys yours from Wallke or Amazon?

Ive noticed several Wallke owners switching out back shock for new air shock. Apparently the stock model is a sprinkler head with a spring in it?

Yup. It’s just a spring-in-a-can type. Mine started sagging at 400 miles. Bottoming out when I hit some bumps on the road. I’m 220 lbs and ride pavement 90%.. and gravel or dirt for the rest.
