Two batteries

I am planning to ride from Scottsdale to Wickenburg on my Aventon Level. One way is 70 miles, which is just past my range on a single charge. Has anyone had experience toting and extra battery?

I sometimes take 3 (batteries).

That route is pretty flat so with two batteries you should be fine.

That’s my plan for spring and I ordered a second battery (625wh) 4 months ago. Not sure I’ll see it before June. This is how I’m planning on toting mine, if I ever get one!

If this helps, Dallant, I ordered a skid-plate for my second Giant battery on July 4th, 2020, and got it on January 20th, 2021.

Yes, I should have ordered a bit earlier. At least we got my wife’s Allant+7 so I could use her battery if she’s not going along. Shes still working so I could get some longer rides in til she retires.
