Turning lights off on bosch smartphone hub

I've been reading in the manual that you can turn off the front and/or rear lights. I have a Trek Allant 9.9s and it seems that i should be able to press and hold the "+" button on the controls on the bars. Doesn't seem to be happening though. I tried turning it off with the cobi app via my iphone - that doesn't seem to work either. Ideas? Maybe I need to have the firmware updated? Hmm...

I think I recently read that all you/we need to do is take it into a service shop and they have a way to enable that feature i guess.... i might do that soon.

Just took the bike in for 350 mile check, all good. Will do that next time. Thanks
