I've considered setting ECO even lower (say 15/15) but I think @Stefan Mikes has previously posted that there is a limit to the benefits in reducing the assistance too much, something to do with the motor efficiency at those settings. However, I've got no idea what the sensible lowest setting is for my bike, efficiency wise, maybe he can advise me?
The 20/20% setting is proven for a full power Specialized e-bike. The 15/15% might work. Choking the motor with too a low assistance demand makes it work intermittently as the motor cannot deliver the power under certain minimum level (consider riding unassisted if you feel too strong!)
Bavi, you seem to be a perfect candidate for a Specialized SL e-bike! Or, perhaps, a lightweight traditional bicycle?
Stefan, I think if I were buying now in my current state of fitness I would have looked very seriously at the Vado SL 5.0 EQ I do like the low step over height on my Como for when I do the grocery shopping but I'm not very keen on the look of the Como SL so much for some reason. I see a guy with a Vado SL most days when I'm on morning walk and I'm quite envious of the chap riding it. I don't think I could manage anything more extreme than that for now, although wouldn't a Creo 2 would be lovely someday? My wife would probably insist I sold a motorbike though!
Oh my... It certainly would. On the other hand... You British people love road bikes but Creo 2 is a true gravel e-bike And... The motor is too powerful for you there haha!
I can't go 115mph on an e-bike ... mind you, I can't legally go 115mph on a motorbike either!
I see, not only are you an athlete, you are also a musician... I'd love to be creative in that way, I hope you're keeping it up
