Tris Leaning Trikes

I have experience with a tilting bike, just not this one. I have the Bintelli Trio which I highly recommend. I think the Tris is interesting. However I am not remotely tempted to swap my Bintelli for it.

Pros for the Tris:
Sturmey archer Internal hub (not derailleur) for easier ground clearance offroad
One of the available models actually folds up and all are relatively light
One interesting feature (not sure if it is a pro or not, but maybe) is that it tilts unless you engage the "no tilt" lever and hold it. It is like a brake lever. Whereas on the Bintelli it is a switch on or off. I think this one feature beats Bintelli.
Cons for the Tris:
I think the wheel size is very small which makes for a harder ride and top heavy.
No or nearly no cargo capacity.
Lots more parts involved in the tilting which means more points of failure and less natural riding feel
V brakes (not disc) which on a bike that fast can be an issue
I personally find the tadpole (2 front wheels) to be a con. But if you prefer tadpoles, then go for it. After riding a tilting trike I will always recommend a tilting trike unless you can't at all due to a disability.
