Trek Verve + low step dimensions

Hi
I have been looking at this model and have ridden them and find them very comfortable. There aren’t any 2019 small ones left but there might be a medium at one store. But with the lockdowns etc it is difficult to get to the store and I would like to look at the numbers before bothering them. I have not been able to find any sort of chart comparing the dimensions of the various sizes.
Does anyone out there have such a thing?
Thanks, John

Hi Oberst

Thanks for this. What I am looking for are the numbers for the 2019 model which is slightly different from the 2020 and 2021.

If anyone has a small Verve + low step 2019 would you mind measuring the horizontal top tube from the centre of the headset to the centre of the seat post.
This method is a bit arbitrary but would give me some useful information.
Thanks,
John

My wife has one and I think it’s a small. I can measure it tomorrow if you still need it.

I ran down and measured it for you.
From the bolt to the center of the seat post just below the saddle it‘s 21.5 inches. Depending on you seat height yours will vary. If you prefer I measure it differently tell me how and I’ll do it again.

To confirm, she has a small 2019 Verve +.

BTW, it’s a nice bike.

Thanks for doing this. I have time booked today to ride a medium and will measure it. I have liked the small ones I have ridden. We shall see.

I'm looking at buying a Trek Verve+ 2 or possibly a +3. Could I please ask if your wife finds it easy to put her leg through the "low step" to get on and off the bike? I'm concerned that I might have issues putting my leg over the saddle to mount and dismount, so I'm looking at the geometry of the low step as a solution. I'm a glorious five feet tall on a good day. Thank you.

Yes , she has no problem with the older Verve + step through which has a bar below and above the battery. The 2 + has only one bar so it should be eve easier.
