Thought I'd ask you if know if this motor and controller are capable of working with a 52v 20ah battery?

48 V is the nominal voltage, and 52.4 V is the proper voltage for the fully charged battery. Just to make you less worried

Here's what ai tells me.

Controller Voltage Rating: The controller for the TranzX M07 motor is designed for a nominal 48V battery. The fully charged voltage of a 48V battery is typically 54.6V.
