Tire size setting and speed limiter

I just got a new 29" Pedego Platinum step thru. Had a great ride today with my wife. I was playing around with the settings and set the tire size to 16". The speedo was not accurate now, but I had my phone up with Waze. 32 mph on the throttle. Just thought I would share some data.

I just bought a Ridge Rider and changed tire size on the display to 16” I hit 32.7. I’m wondering if this is bad for the motor or invalidates my warranty??

The display speed was inaccurate, so I downloaded a speedometer app that recorded 32.7.

Are you saying changing the size down actually increases speed or just indicated speed?

when I changed the tire size I recorded 32 mph but I had to use a speedometer app. The display will not read correctly

my tire size is 27.5. I reduced the display size indicator to 16
