Throttle Control - Prevent Cutout

Is there a way with the X1 controller to have the throttle come back on after a brake even or shift sensor event?
For example, if I hold the throttle at 25% and either tap the brake or shift the throttle will shut off which is good but it will not come back on unless I release the throttle, wait a second then reengage the throttle.
I didn't see anything in the programming to modify this.

Essentially if you brake or shift, power cuts out, then you have to press throttle again to move forward. I have not tried this scenario but after brief testing, looks like that is how it works right now.

We don't have programming modification for this behavior. I can put in a request to see if this parameter can be added.

that would be amazing. I often use small amount of throttle then shift. it would be nice if the throttle just came back on. (not sure if its possible but it would be nice to also control the ramp of power being applied.)

Cool.

Changing the behavior of the throttle is a task for us ... the controller throttle setup will need to be re-worked. Have it as an action item, but not quite there yet.

its how the bafang defualt controller is setup. but yes you wouldn't want to go full throttle. plus it ramps back up.

Reading back over this and focusing more on the results you describe it sounds like what you have to do to shift old vehicles with no synchros in the transmission. You cannot force them and they shift best with throttle applied modestly, slightly backing off to match RPM of engine and transmission, shift, then back onto throttle for power.

Anybody remember the old double clutch move? The synchros were gone on first gear in my 67 bug so unless you were at a dead stop you had to do the double clutch. Really brings me back😏

Oh yes. I tried that on the 1947 Dodge Power Wagon too. It worked okay, more effort. Matching R's worked best. And....I felt like an "Operator" at 18 years old.
