I knew it was for storage. I was just making a joke. And I thought it was funny. E-Motos have a place and that is off-road on private land. If I had a ranch I would prefer one to a dirtbike motorcycle.

TLDR: Russia is importing and laundering Iranian oil through Kazakhstan. So that diesel Russia is supposedly selling us is putting money into the mullah's pockets, basically making it Treason Diesel.

I'd also remind everyone that Russia is a country where, unless you sufficiently bribe the doctor, the hospital, and the pharmacist, the medications you receive are likely to be adulterated. The gasoline they are selling right now in Russia is ruining car engines. I'm sure, though, that the diesel will be of excellent quality.

Largely because most of our fuels are produced in Texas and Louisiana and there are no (or very few) pipelines connecting that part of the country with places like the Northeast or the west of the Rockies. So they'd have to ship by tanker except, well, they can't because of the Jones Act.

And if you are making the capital investment in new infrastructure (either pipelines or oil terminals and tankers) I'd also ask the practical question: why don't we invest in newer infrastructure, or at least cost out what the different alternatives might be?
 
US companies sell diesel to the EU. Diesel from Iran through Russia will end up in the EU as an offset for keeping a little more domestically by US companies. It is the fungibility of a commodity in a global marketplace. If I hand someone $20 and say, don't by drugs with it. They can just not spend as much on food, so they can buy drugs.

That's a business decision that is the involved companies responsibility to make. All we need is for the Federal Gov't to MTOB and not try to influence one way or the other.
 
Trump pointed out that Europe has bought 250 billion dollars of energy off Russia since the 'sanctions', either directly or indirectly ,this is completely true, in fact Germany has only just agreed to pretend not to.
This includes electricity via interconnects which hilariously has been partly used to shore up Ukraines decimated power infrastructure.

So now our drones have been used to blow up Russian data centres, which makes us legitimate targets...one ship..one anchor and we'll be bartering in supermarkets.
This is the most ludicrous war.
Theyve just hacked French freezers and ruined all the food.

Thats just wishful thinking and hype, there has been no drop in russian bot activity, even the bbc admit that..of course they would admit that or theyd have to stop blaming Russian bots for everything.

Im telling the truth Stefan, our propaganda is every bit as good as theirs.
Those 500 ghost ships are western owned, western insured and are being freely allowed to scoot down the English channel while we pretend to be seizing them.
