All MC batts are housed just rear of the tank, below the riders seat. As a participant on motorcycle forums for years I watched many riders go across to Lipo, to save weight or for longevity. Chances are that was a lipo starter battery fire. I wonder if the fuel in the tank burned off too? That would be a steel tank under that melted plastic goo on top. Chargers don't catch fire in my experience, they just smoke a bit when a component blows.
Electric cars have regen braking. The Ferrari has falcy yellow caliper looking thingys. They also have an artificial sound generator. I think it is under the seats with a subwoofer. The Sonoma Raceway is a few miles away and before the next town in that direction. It is hilly with hairpin S-curves. They have vintage car races that are free and fun. There are some classic Ferraris that are actually doing what they were meant for.
