The transition

Seriously, do you think any of them are any less corrupt.
Trump is their handy bogeyman.
They all pretend to fight for your cause while banking your gullibility.
A) I never considered it an excuse for being a criminal that other criminals exists out there. And he is the one in charge right now.
B) He his clearly a level of magnitude above any of the past men at the top. He makes them look like candy stealing children.

So first the POS you voted in shut down everything green possible... and now you want to use as an argument that there isn't enough green infrastructure.
I think you misunderstand my position. I don't care what other people drive; and I don't care about the availability of charging stations. If people want it, private companies are welcome to support; go Elon (not an Elon fan).

I do care about the federal government spending $ to support specific groups.

Just imagine all the good that could have been done with the billions he sunk into useless or botched projects, from wars, to monuments to his glorious person, to no bid contracts leading to failure...
And this is not even mentioning the billions he made pardoning criminals, conning average Americans with his personal scams or monetizing insider trading and personal favors to enrich himself and his family....
I agree, tax decreases for those that pay federal income tax comes to mind.

If you are driving in areas with active wildfires you are in a Difficult Situation whether you have a gas-powered or an electric vehicle.

In 2014 during the Carlton Complex Fire I lost power for 12 days. As did all of the nearby towns. Gas stations cannot pump gas without power, and payment systems don't process payments without power, and ATM machines do not work without power. So it was at least a fifty mile drive to any place I could pump gas and pay for it. And even then more often than not the gas stations were out of fuel.

At least with an EV I can make my own electrons with solar panels in that case.

Even better, after the generators ran out of fuel the cell network went down. So only those of us with satellite phones could even communicate with the outside world.

I'd also observe that most backup generators are not designed to run that long without an overhaul, and the same stores that sell the generators rarely have the spare parts you'd need for an overhaul. Although that taught me you can make a decent field expedient air filter out of a beer can and a (mostly) clean shop rags -- provided you have tin snips and a punch.

One other time I came into a remote location in Montana on fumes, and found that the card lock gas station there was out of fuel and would not have fuel until Monday morning (it was the wee hours of Saturday morning). You can call me stupid for pushing it that hard but my justification was that my employer strongly encouraged me to use the card lock stations by not reimbursing me for fuel I purchased on my credit card. Of course in this case it saved them zero money because I got to hang out in a pretty cool place for two days on the company dollar.

I think you're misunderstanding where things need to go. Oil is pollution and causes of war with the mentally stuck of the world
Eliminate it first, let the middle east drown in it and sell what you have developed to the rest of the planet.

Nope, the Iranian response is the cause. Iran’s beef should be with the USA. The world should have a beef with Iran; their choice to sit back and whine.

US inflation isn't terrible, is the rest of world having inflation issues?
What did you expect them to do? Just roll over and play dead cuz Agent Orange "thought it"?
You are experiencing reality, as are we all.
Nicely done. Maybe put an adult in charge, and hire the smart people back.
Just a thought...

Actually had no idea there was an active wildfire since we are from 500 miles away, it was not on national news and we don't listen to broadcast radio in the van. Never saw smoke at any time as we headed into the area; highway was shut down as staging area for fighters and equipment.

There are different circumstances for similar conditions. We lost power, as did gas stations for 5 days (wind storm.) Had no problem getting fuel for our generator since a handful of stations fired up generators.

I think we disagree. I think "use the world's first, than we have our own to keep us going."

Kinda like my dog crapped in your yard so you throw a brick through your other neighbor's window. Full disclosure: I don't have a dog.

I'd think 18 families (that we know of) have a slightly different perspective. Try harder...
