Just put Schwalbe Super Moto Xs reflex on my new used e-mtn bike, in place of knobbies. So much nicer to ride and fine on the gravel and dirt where I ride. On road its literally night and day the difference is that dramatic, in the more pleasant direction. On the old woods roads and dirt and cinder trails, these are fine. And their fine just zooming around exploring off road, but not for real off roading or up or down stuff. I have Big Bens on my 29er, which has been my main bike for years. No flats(keeps fingers crossed). Favorite bike tires. Love 'em.

My new used really nice emtn bike came with Maxxis Rekon + in 2.80 x 27.5. I went down to 2.4 width, which is much nicer riding the beautiful rolling paved roads around here. I live in a mtn town and its really hilly. I couldn't get back to my own home on my regular bike without a serious to impossible struggle. Went for a tiring ride today, put the thing in full boost, almost zoomed back up the hill to home. I was still sweating and out of breath...which I like.

MARATHON ALMOTION HS603 is a great pavement tire ; great protection , low rolling resistance , supple , durable , good grip on wet and dry , and available tubeless .
If your size is not available in N. America check European web ; price is much better there too .
Also they're rated pretty good off road for a pavement tire although I haven't ridden them off road .
