Hi guys just wondering if it's normal to have some play in your front fork head tube ? I have a pedego ridge rider. If I apply the front brake and push the bike forward I can here and feel the head tube moving a bit. Any suggestions or thoughts. Thanks.

This is not normal or safe. You need to tighten your headset.

You should loosen the clamp bolts on the stem and tighten the bolt on top of the steerer tube. This will compress the space between the stem and the headset, removing the slack. It should be tight so there is no play, but not too tight that it creates friction when turning the bars.

Here is a link explaining the process more:

It should be tight with no play. It bears quite a bit of stress and if there is any play it will get worse fairly quickly.
