SW900 PAS wont work

I just purchased an Ecotric fat tire Hammer bike with the SW900 controller. I tried to increase the the top speed of the controller following the parameter settings but I must have not done it right as only the throttle works now and it wont assist while peddeling. I reset it using P11 per the generic Ecotric manual and am able to use throttle only now but no peddle assist ... what am I missing? I am obviously new to ebiking and when I call Ecotric there is no answer and a full vm box so I'm hoping someone on this forum can steer me in the right direction.

There's a lot of Hammer owners on the Ecotric Owners group on Facebook. You might ask for the P10-P13 settings. Make sure it's an SW900 and not an S900, as they are different. Ecotric is known for not answering phone. I believe you have to use [email protected] . I do my own support. Never have contacted them.

My Ecotric uses a different display, but I do own an SW900 display from a motor kit I bought from ebikeling. I didn't like the way it worked on my bike, so I use a different contoller. However when trying to get it to work right, I also optioned myself into the same situation where I killed the PAS. I got it back. I probably set P10 wrong. Here is his web page for the settings. Thank you for the quick reply! I had that link before I posted this question. Yes, you are correct I have the S900 not the SW900. I still cannot figure out how to make my peddle assist work again just my throttle. I'm most likely one of the few people to not have a Facebook account and I really do not want to sign up. Is there anyone out there that may know how to re activate my S900 PAS? I've contacted to customer service at Ecotric but to no avail.

Well, without facebook, I wouldn't know that there was toilet paper galore at the local grocery this morning at 8AM (per the local neighborhood group).

My P09 says 25mph and doesn't appear to adjustable.

Fyi, I just rode the bike after looking it over upside down and I located the PAS sensor on the crank (it moves a tiny bit back and fourth) and my PAS started to work but its intermittent. I noticed I had some dried mud in that area and so thought maybe the connection was wet. I used electronic cleaner on it and cleaned everything as best I could and the PAS is still intermittent.

I have a few S900 adjustments that are not able to be accessed ... maybe the unit is locked out on some of these adjustments from Ecotric?

I'm wondering if you ever got the PAS working on your SW900. I'm having an identical experience, and I don't think it's due to messing up the settings, because I've tried just about every combination without success. I've contacted the dealer, and they're not much help. I'm thinking about replacing the controller altogether. Any insight would be appreciated.
