Hello there,
My Stx1 gave first a No Com message and now it shows a No Batt . I did check all outside plugs.
Living in Sout of Ireland no dealers around.
Any idea what to do? The bike was fine till now.
Thank you

With such messages, you have the classic Stromer ST1 (there is also the ST1x, which is very different, as wll as the new ST1).

Unfortunately, no real solution can be given. These errors are erratic, but luckily not serious (mostly). Often, a restart is sufficient, sometimes the temporarily removing of the battery helps. Even the hard way, switching the system off and on again while riding can help (but keep the feet off the pedals while switching on).

I tried all the above but nothing seems to have an effect. The no batt is flashing alternately with the full battery symbol of the battery. ?
Any further ideas? The bike was performing till then perfectly fine.
Thank you

Are you the original owner?
If yes can you take it to the lbs you purchased it from to see if they can run diagnostics on it ?

You don't need to be the original owner (Stromer warranty is transferrable ) however if your bike is 2017 then it almost has been 4 years and the warranty may have expired(warranty for frame is still on).

Can you confirm which model you have? Is it st1X (second generation) or one of the first generation models? You can post a photo.

Check the Rosenberger pins on the battery and the battery compartment(look at the photo/advice given here rosenberger pins ). Make sure that battery has a secure connection and update us.

Disconnect the brake sensor cable first, then try again. Then disconnect the display, remove it from the handlebar (carefully!) and remove the small battery, the reconnect (to the Stromer controller only) and try again.
