Does anyone know when the flyon series will arrive in usa?
They should not be doing that, people want more torque, not necessarily speed. I have bad legs, but I don't like being left behind on steep hill climbs, we need more tourqe for more effortless climbs for people like myself in their late years, or with bad legs to still get out and have fun.
Very interesting that I would hear from a Luna bike supporter, especially that I live only a few blocks from it's company head quarters, and had been recently in contact with them.If that is all that you require you could be riding one of these next week: https://lunacycle.com/luna-cycle-apollo/ at a discount over the Flyon even.
One of the complaints I have seen on the EU forums I follow is that the Flyon range is not that great even though it has a pretty hefty battery. But power takes energy and bikes like the Flyon and Apollo have to have big batteries which increases weight which requires more energy.....with less sophisticated torque sensing/firmware integrated systems to control output like Bosch is trying to achieve with less nm torque that may be all we'll get going forward?
I have emailed haibike usd, and they told me that the flyon's will be in the USA by October. If I was going to get another bike, other than the Hiabike flyon, it would be the Rocky Mountain. These are my only 2 choices for a mountain ebike that I would consider for getting up steep trails.
They replied yesterday. When did they replied ? I mean it was after the corona or BC ?
I'm retired on a limited budget, so I only buy value quality, I read most of the reviews, and opinions as well as to note the experts comments. I never buy the highest because they're just selling a brand name, nor do I ever buy the cheapest because you do get what you pay for with several regrets. I buy the middle of the road because that's where you find the best quality, most bang for the bucks. That's my opinion based on a lot of personal research.I don't know what your budget is, but this may be another viable choice: https://wattwagons.com/pages/travalanche_specifications
