My ST2-S popped the mounting assembly for the rear fender, where the top tube meets the seat stay. I have the Stromer rear rack, had a chunky load
on the rack, and hit some real choppy pavement at speed. Fender pushed downward and popped the bolt/screw/assembly.
I got a new assembly sent but it baffles me, sorry. It is a plastic block with a galvanized sheet metal screw stuck in it.
The black plastic piece must go inside the fender but that can't be.
Note that there is no exit hole at the bottom of the plastic piece and the screw is a tapered sheet metal screw.
What is the secret install for this? Or is it even the correct assembly??

I thought that the plastic piece might fit up into the seat stay bracket BUT there is no exit hole to go thru the fender.
Yet, that thick plastic piece can't go inside the fender, so neither inside fender or outside seem possible.
EDIT- does pic show now??
