St2 left crank loose

Is all that is needed is just tighten with Allen wrench, or does that circular piece with all the holes need to be loosened 1st? Thanks for any assistance.

I lost the left cranck on the road, just tighten the allen.
I added some loctite to prevent loosening.

Thanks, loc-tite is a good idea. I'm going to put the same on the kickstand bolt if it loosens again. Mine almost fell off. That would not be cool if it got caught in the wheel while riding, or running over it.

Check you manual for torque specifications and tighten accordingly. I would advise against Loc-Tite. And then check with our local dealer. We find most cranks on new builds to be loose.
