Specialized vado 2021 TCD problem

Hello I am just wondering if any body has any ideas before I book my bike in with a specialized dealer. I have just purchased a 2021 Vado and took it for a quick spin once I set it up all was fine. Afterwards I put it in my truck and when I got home. My TCD display does not turn on when the battery/bike is turned on. If I hold in the control buttons beside my left handle grip. The display comes on and when I let go it goes off. It makes no difference when I plug charger into battery

You need to report it to the LBS. It is a wrong behaviour. The 2021 TCD-w should come on almost instantly when the battery button has been pushed and the battery LEDs got lit. Is the battery properly seated in its chamber?
(We're talking the full power Vado, are we).

Yes full power Vado. Only arrived today. Worked at first then now it’s not working. Tried taking battery out/in charged it up to 80% also,

The proper behaviour is:

• The battery is locked in the frame (the charge % does not matter)
• You push the battery button and the green LEDs go on
• After very few seconds, the display becomes operable and stays so until you switch the battery off.

If it is not so, you must deliver your Vado back to the LBS for the diagnostics and intervention.
