Specialized Turbo Vado rear fender light

I have a Turbo Vado 3.0 with the rear light mounted on the fender. Yesterday, I picked up a nail that lodge in the hole where the wires feed into the light from the back. Go figure the likelihood of that occurring! The rear light no longer works. It could be that the nail just severed one of the soldered connections. A cursory inspection indicates that the light might be fully integrated into the fender and, therefore, not individually replaceable or repairable. Does anyone know before I spend the time to remove the wheel and take off the fender this weekend?
