hello folks,
i bought a 2nd-hand turbo-x from 2015, battery has a problem. seems to be d motherboard (of BMS) if i understand it correctly. or is there another board in there? now d specialised-importer here in spain says only option is a new battery - price 1200$ !!!!!!
suffice to say i find this outrageous, for various reasons. so not an option for me. REPAIR is d answer, battery is still good.
question: where could i find another board, used or new, so i can exchange it for d broken one? or who knows how to repair it, probably it's a '50-cents-component' that needs replacing. but, needs to be identified; not my expertise, unfortunately
have a nice day,
Radek

finally i gave up looking for d key and destroyed d lock; anybody knows how to lift this bottom-lid in order to install a new lock?

i opened d battery and discovered that if i separate d 1st board from d 2nd, and press d ON-button, battery-test runs and then stays ON. unlike before. i therefore think d 2nd board could have a defect. anybody has 1 in his junk-box? or knows where to find 1? 'specialized' don't have it :(

have you got d same bike? looks like controller is inside d motor, so problem must be BMS. i'm now looking for a suitable external one, i don't have hope to find one that'll fit inside battery case.

as foreseen my components don't want to communicate with each other after i replaced this original BMS with a simple one (DALY). charging battery is possible, lights are on but motor doesn't react. could a simple solution be to install a throttle directly to the motor-controller? establish a battery-throttle-motor connection somehow? (i haven't opened that one yet). i could still pedal assist but control motor-assistance with the thumb (instead of pedal-sensor)
any thoughts on this idea?
