[SOLVED] Power feed from CX motor

Hi. I am fitting an enviolo electric hub to my Samedi with a CX motor. I can get to the wires easy enough, but I need to know which wires I can use for a 36v supply to the new system. I don't want to take a feed straight off the 36v supply - even if I can find it - as I presume it would not switch off.
 
Thanks for your concern but this is not a problem. I already have an older bosch powered ebike fitted with this system. It is quite common.
The enviolo hub is not a motor! It is a continuously variable IGH and the voltage is just required to power the change of the gear, like on the modern shimano system.

I see. but with the newer motors it might not work. who knows.

What I am after is which colour wires on the Bosch CX system will give me this.
So I am hoping somone on this forum knows about the Bosch CX system.

the lighit is either 12 or 6 v not sure if it actually makes it to 1 amp cant remember. you need the bosch rep he may drop in and tell you or not.
 
Aftermarket modification for the integration of electronic shifting components is not recommended by Bosch. Factory-integrated eShift systems use a special cable from Bosch, in addition to application-specific software on the drive unit. The OEM also would have designed the eBike with the eShift system in mind. Modification of the battery cable can potentially cause issues, and potential nullification of warranty claims related to battery, cable, and/or drive unit. In the event of a hazardous situation or accident, modification on this level also has the potential to shift design liability from the manufacturer of the eBike to the party responsible for the modification. I am not trained in legal matters, but this is my understanding of the situation based on past involvement with numerous situations.

Thanks for your reply. It is not the eShift system I am trying to install. As you state this is not possible! I am installing the Enviolo system with the twist control. (Equally, of course, I could install the latest Enviolo automatic system with the wifi controller.) I have removed the system from an older Bosch system where there were just two small wires giving the 36v feed. Unfortunately all the colours are different on the later models, all very garish and of course much easier to discriminate! I am willing to risk the warranty issues as the bike is nearly out of the warranty period. I just need to know which colour wires will give me 36v switched by the on/off control.

You might be better off just buying a separate 36V battery. Less risk, and simpler. Yes, you'd need to charge two different batteries. So what?
 
And I would need to switch it off separately. So a lot of hassle compared to just connecting it up to the battery, just like the older one I have already!

Thanks again for your suggestion. This had of course occured to me. The problem is that there is a great number of wires, and it is not possible to get to the terminals at the ends. And I do not want to have all the wires, which may well get wet, with pinprick holes in their casings.
So what I really need, you see, is to know which wires have 36v and switch on and off with the on off on the unit.
Which is why I posted the question on this forum.

So you spend days on this forum hunting for THE ANSWER that you want, which seems not to exist, rather than do a simple workaround, and does not risk your expensive drive train. Interesting approach.

It is BECAUSE it is an expensive drive train that I was looking for some information from an expert, rather than stabbing about in the dark. The diagram is for the fitting of a Supernova ebike light.
