I have a 2022 snap cycle folding S1 bicycle… I recently started having problems with the headset where the handlebars become loose and don’t stay aligned with the front tire…
You constantly have to unfold the handlebars to tighten the hex head screw just tight enough so it holds, but not too tight where you can’t turn the wheel.
by all means if you overtighten it, you will strip that bolt and then that little nut inside the headset will have to be replaced… It’s a horrible design.
They say it’s a maintenance issue but the bike shop that I had it repaired and the place I bought it think it’s a design flaw.
